Robert Topala, a Swedish developer, single-handedly developed Geometry Dash. From a young age, he was passionate about platform games, with Super Mario being his main inspiration. The love for rhythm games like Bit.Trip Runner and The Impossible Game also influenced Rob's creation of Geometry Dash. The game was released on August 13, 2013, with seven initial levels.
