About Geometry Dash Skeletal Shenanigans
Created by YoReid and Airzyy for JamAttack’s creator contest, Skeletal Shenanigans is a 2.2 level that blends fast-paced platforming with cinematic storytelling. With 80,500 objects and a 2-minute, 15-second runtime, it stands out for its fluid animations, creative design, and engaging boss battle. What sets it apart is its smooth animations, rich visuals, and a story-driven structure that blends rhythmic gameplay with exciting transitions.
Gameplay Breakdown
The level takes you on a journey through skeleton-infested ruins, switching between cube, robot, spider, and ball modes for varied challenges.
Key Sections:
- Lava Cave (Spider) – A fiery intro with a skeleton holding a scoreboard.
- Inside the Fort (Swing & Robot) – Swing between torches before a pirate skeleton fires you from a cannon.
- Outside the Fortress (Cube) – Tricky platforming with misleading scaffolding—follow the music’s rhythm!
- Boss Fight (Ball) – Dodge fireballs and skull attacks while teleporting between floors.
- In the Woods (Cube) – Chase a stolen jewel through a forest as a giant skeleton looms in the background.
- Inside the Cave (Spider) – A tense escape sequence with tight jumps.
Coins:

- Second Coin – Found by skipping a small portal outside the fortress.
Graphics and Music: A Showcase of Geometry Dash 2.2
The level’s visuals are a major highlight. Using Geometry Dash 2.2’s animation and trigger tools, Geometry Dash Skeletal Shenanigans features fluid transitions, eerie lighting, and expressive effects that bring the skeleton-themed world to life.
The soundtrack features a mix of “Slash” and “Inferno”, composed by Waterflame, Teminite, and Boom Kitty—three legends in the Geometry Dash music scene. Their energetic, perfectly synced beats push the pace and immerse players deeper into the action.
