Test your timing, reflexes, and patience in Geometry Dash DeathStep—a fierce remake of Clubstep. Are you ready to face its traps and challenges?

What is Geometry Dash DeathStep?

DeathStep is a custom level created by FunnyGame during the 1.6 update. Officially rated a Hard Demon, the community often considers it a challenging Medium Demon. It is a much harder remake of RobTop’s classic level, Clubstep, keeping the familiar layout but amplifying it with deceptive fakes, narrow passages, and complex gravity tricks that demand sharp precision and fast adaptation.

The Flow of Gameplay

Geometry Dash DeathStep plays like a rollercoaster of escalating difficulty. It opens with a cube section filled with misleading orbs and fakes, then quickly shifts into a tough ball sequence requiring flawless orb timing.

Midway, players encounter alternating forms: a gravity-flipping ship, a tight UFO corridor, and a smaller UFO filled with transparent blocks and more traps. These transitions allow no room for error.

The second half introduces even trickier ships and balls. Standout challenges include a gravity-shifting ship powered by orbs and a cube maze with breakable blocks. The finale ends with a demanding ship sequence capped by three fragile blocks—a fittingly dramatic finish.

Controls

  • Tap/Click/Press to jump, hit orbs, and switch gravity.
  • Hold/Release to control ships, UFOs, and balls.

Critical Points to Note

  • Deceptive Design: Fakes and disappearing blocks make memorization essential.
  • Tight Timings: Ball and ship segments require perfect synchronization.
  • Clubstep Legacy: Knowing the original helps, though traps are far harsher.
  • Shifting Pace: Difficulty swings between extreme and simple, testing consistency.
