Survive the night in Five Nights at Freddy's 3—outsmart Springtrap, manage failing systems, and face terrifying phantoms in this intense horror experience.
Overview
Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 takes you back into the dark history of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza—now set 30 years after the restaurant’s closure. A new group of owners has opened Fazbear’s Fright: The Horror Attraction, a place designed to recreate the infamous events of the past.
You’re hired as the night guard during the attraction’s test week. The equipment is unstable, systems keep breaking, and something unexpectedly alive has been discovered in the old ruins. Your mission is simple: survive six nights.
Gameplay
Unlike the first two games, FNAF 3 removes doors, lights, and masks. Instead, you rely on several unstable systems to stay alive:
- Camera System – Track Springtrap’s movement across different rooms. Be careful not to stare at phantom animatronics on the cameras, as they can cause system errors.
- Audio Lure – Play sound cues to attract Springtrap to specific rooms, keeping it away from your office.
- Ventilation System – If the ventilation fails, you’ll experience hallucinations, making phantoms appear more frequently and putting you in danger.
- Maintenance Panel – The camera, audio, and ventilation systems can fail at any time. You must reboot individual systems or perform a full restart when necessary.
Your main threat is Springtrap, the only animatronic capable of killing you. Alongside it are several phantom animatronics—Freddy, Chica, Foxy, Mangle, Balloon Boy, Puppet, and more. They cannot kill you, but their jumpscares trigger system failures, giving Springtrap opportunities to move closer.
Controls
- Mouse – Look around the office
- Left Click – Open Cameras / Maintenance Panel
- Spacebar (while hovering over a vent camera) – Seal the vent
Tips to Survive
- Keep Springtrap at a distance: Use audio lures to draw it to rooms far from your office.
- Seal vents strategically: Springtrap frequently uses vents to reach you.
- Reboot systems promptly: Fix single system errors quickly; if multiple fail, perform a full reboot.
- Avoid looking at phantoms: If a phantom appears on the camera, switch away immediately to prevent system malfunction.
- Monitor ventilation closely: A broken ventilation system leads to hallucinations, more phantom attacks, and a much higher chance of losing.
